Cracked LCD Panel on MacBook Air
This MacBook Air has a cracked LCD panel causing the blotches and lines that you see in the picture. Often times when a screen is cracked you will have some variation of this type of damage on your screen.
Although the damage appears to be extreme, it is just the same LCD panel replacement that is necessary on this Air as it is on the other “not so bad looking” MacBook Air screens.
After replacing the LCD panel this computer is completely usable again! By replacing just the LCD panel instead of the entire display assembly you are able to save $100’s.
